Sah (god)

The Hieroglyphic Name of Sah
For the Ancient Egyptians, Sah was the apotheosis of configuration Orion. His accord was Sopdet, the goddess of star Sirius. Orion and Sirius both given an important role in Egyptian mythology, and the checking deities were affiliated with God Osiris and Goddess Isis.

Sah was oftentimes observed as "the Father of Gods" in the Pyramid texts of the Old Kingdom. Pharaoh was considered to travel to Orion after his end.
